WARNING: +18
~ This review is based on reading an ARC ~

First I put on the dedication, because as a Mexican woman, struck a chord, so to speak ...

“This book is dedicated to the memory of the hundreds of murdered and missing women of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. You were brutalized and discarded like you didn’t matter. But the earth received your tears, your blood, your bones, and, like a bereaved mother, the earth itself cries out for justice. May the violence end and those who stole your bodies and your lives be held to account.”

Well, now let the story... Pamela Clare is one of my favorite authors. Since I read Extreme Exposure and the I-Team took the reins. Few authors know to make good romantic suspense books (count them on the fingers of one hand), and as expected Breaking Point, came with everything.

Natalie has a painful past that has done everything possible to keep at bay, when she saw the conference in Mexico, decided to take it, little did she know what she was going to get. An armed commando attacked the bus in which they were, they killed all Mexican journalists and she was taken hostage. Taken to a place away from everything, their only salvation was a voice. The voice from the other side of the wall,  of a man, an American like her, who was being tortured. Zach Black, knows his minutes of live are less and less, until he hears a girl calling for help, a place where only he can help it. Together, with ingenuity, determination and a lot of inner strength, they manage to escape the lion's mouth only to discover that things are not as simple as they seem and that beyond those who persecute you, their own hearts have made a few plays, putting them directly into the mouth of the wolf.

Breaking Point is more than a beautiful cover (with the hot Jed Hill -BTW, is the same guy on the cover of Perfect Play by Jaci Burton), is a complex story, whose characters are well delineated. Natalie and Zach are strong characters, tortured but with a big heart. I liked to see Zach in action, I liked his interaction with Natalie, the internal struggle had to endure because of their past and how that love took the lead.

All time I had with Ohhh my God! From the tender scenes between these two, the action scenes and sex that wooooow... Julian Darcangelo was my man, but noooo Zach has taken it and everything! A wonderful novel that I loved from beginning to end, has funny scenes and scenes that I drew a few tears, there is a very touching scene between Julian and Marc is totally unforgettable, that's what a true friendship ... I want more of the I-Team
